Are These Training Workshops Right For You?

You! We think we have something for every need, with courses offered for individuals and groups, privately and publicly, and live and self-paced. Whether you’re an instructor, course developer, or system administrator we offer learning that will move you to learn and do.
Not at all! If you are a partner, someone with general interest in educational software, or someone who is preparing to use D2L in your job, these courses will give you deep product knowledge so you can be successful in those endeavors.
As part of your enrolment, you will receive a “sandbox” to practice your new skills in a fully functional environment, so access to Brightspace environment is not required.
For all courses, to participate in the Brightspace Learning Environment, you will need a desktop or laptop computer with a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and a reliable high-speed internet connection. To see if your browser meets the minimum requirements, you can run a system check by visiting the Learning Center System Check tool with the computer and browser you intend to use.

Public and Virtual Private Training will also need audio equipment so that you can communicate with the Trainer. Either a phone (preferably a headset or hands-free phone so you don’t have to hold it to your ear for hours), or speakers and a microphone are all you need to hook in.

Onsite Private Training requires facilities suitable for learning a web platform: a room or computer lab with computers for participants, a projector and screen, and a reliable high-speed internet connection for everyone.

Public and Certificate Training is offered currently in English only. Private Training is offered in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Purchasing

Visit learnstore.brightspace.com to browse and select the right course for you. After you add it to your Shopping Cart, click Checkout to initiate the checkout process. Payment can currently be made by credit card or PayPal.
The process is the same as purchasing for yourself, however when you’re in the checkout process be sure to check the “Are you buying this course on behalf of someone else?” checkbox.

Once the purchase is complete, you can register your team for courses by providing their email addresses in the Manage Licenses area. Get there by visiting learnstore.brightspace.com and click Manage Licenses in the top right corner. Participants for whom you provide email addresses will receive a welcome and confirmation email a few minutes later, as part of the registration process.

Of course. Our private training offerings are listed and can be purchased alongside our Public and Certificate Training courses. Head on over to learnstore.brightspace.com to take a look.

If you prefer, you can also arrange private training through your D2L Account Manager, or by visiting d2l.com/contact, to book any of our standard Private offerings or a customized solution.

Credit card, PayPal, or a sales order or purchase order arranged through your Account Manager.
Purchases can be canceled by an email request that provides us with your name, the name of the course, and the start date for the course you’ve registered, up to five business days before the course begins. The certificate courses are offered through the Brighstpace Community’s instance of the Learning Environment, referred to as the Learning Center. You will receive as part of your registration a membership account in the Brightspace Community, if it doesn’t already exist. When logging out of your course, you will be directed to the Brightspace Community.
The easiest way is to click Sign In in the top right corner of this page and then login to the Learning Center.

A link was also provided in the registration email you received, or visit community.brightspace.com and click on Learning Center.

You can by emailing us with your name, the name of the course, and start date for your registered course up to five business days before the course begins. Please refer to our terms and conditions for more detail at learn.brightspace.com/tandcs.

After you finish

Certificate Training provides certificates within the courses themselves, once you’ve successfully completed them of course. Make sure to download your certificate before the course closes! If you missed that close date, however, please contact us at learn.brightspace.com/contact-us for assistance.
Certificates in the Certificate Training courses show that you have participated in a course for a specific version of Brightspace Learning Environment. As such, there’s no re-certification nor renewal.
Public Training courses give you two weeks access to the instruction course and six months access to a personal sandbox course.

Certificate Training courses give you six weeks access to the instruction course (with the first three weeks supported by a D2L Facilitator) and six months access to a personal sandbox course.
